Imperial Spa Las Vegas: Possibly the best $45 you'll spend in Vegas

[📍 Imperial Spa Las Vegas | 10 min from the Strip | Affordable Korean Spa Experience | A Yes & Well Field Note ]

TL;DR

Imperial Spa is a Korean jjimjilbang tucked just off the Las Vegas Strip. For $45, you get access to multiple saunas, bath areas, relaxation lounges, and co-ed clay rooms. It’s clean, affordable, and exactly the reset you need when you want to relax without dropping a small fortune.

What Is This?

Different than the luxury spas on the strip, and with a less scenic (free) parking lot, Imperial offers more than feel-good amenities. The pricing makes this spa experience a ritual you can include in your real life, not just on special occasions.

Jjimjilbangs, a type of bathhouse built around hydrotherapy, heat, and rest, are typically quiet, low-key, affordable places to relax. At Imperial, the $45 day pass gets you access to baths, saunas, and lounge spaces for as long as you want.

Split into two levels:

Level 1 is gender-separated, nude, and home to all wet spa areas and services.

  • Nude?? See our etiquette guide for more (below)

Level 2 is co-ed and fully clothed (in the provided uniform), with additional dry rooms and a full-service restaurant.

Why This Matters

Sometimes you’re on vacation with the time, budget, or occasion that matches luxury and high spending energy. Other times, you want something that feels elevated but still fits into a regular week and a real budget.

Imperial Spa has flexible hours, open 9:30a - 9:00p, 7 days a week, with an affordable ($45) pass to general facilities, and even more affordable treatment packages. You can almost always drop in last minute to use the amenities, and it’s relatively easy to grab a last-minute service.

Wellness isn’t just about hitting your macros and exercise goals; it’s also about rest, pleasure, and slowing down. Bring a friend, or go solo, it costs less than brunch and has way better results.

Treatments

The Touch of Scen Tao is by far their most affordable service, including 100 minutes of massage, body scrub, hair treatment, and facial. All wet services are performed on the first level, in clean, simple rooms. Expect to be naked, do not expect a full consultation, or coddling. It helps to think of these treatments like the tough love you needed and were happy to have, afterward. They will exfoliate your skin to levels of smoothness you didn’t know were possible. They will not care if you’re comfortable while they do it.

Protip: Ensure you have thoroughly washed off lotions or body oil before entering the pools, and definitely before any body scrubs.

Summertime bring specials, and right now (summer 2025). We recommend the Aroma K Scrub (80 minutes). Which includes a full-body scrub, facial mask, hair wash, and massage.

Ettiquettte

  • No shoes

    • Place your street shoes in the lockers immediately inside the lockerroom entry

    • You can go barefoot or:

      • Most spas sell spa shoes

      • Bring your own, ensure they’re for spa use only - keep them as clean as your own bare feet

  • Locker room nudity. Do you really need to be naked?

    • No, and… live a little. Korean culture is lax about nudity in these settings, and we promise that no one is looking at you the way you think. If you must wear a bathing suit, no one will kick you out, and you might consider going bottoms only

    • Your service tech will ask you to remove clothing for your services

  • Use a towel when taking a seat in the sauna and steam room

  • No body oil, lotions, etc. allowed

  • FULL shower with soap before using any facilities

  • Salt scrub tip: Soak for at least 30 minutes before your service, in the hot tub or steam room.

  • Hair: Tie it up or keep it out of the water. Have no shame in wearing a shower cap here!

  • Spa Uniform: You’ll be given a clean set of clothes to wear in the co-ed areas. Wear them. Don’t bring your own or stay in street clothes. It’s a hygiene thing.

  • Be mindful of other guests. Keep the noise level of your conversations low

  • Food & Drink: Stick to the designated eating areas. Don’t bring snacks or drinks into the saunas or baths.

  • No photography or video calls in the locker room

  • No jumping between tubs, splashing, or general pool behavior. Move intentionally. Respect the quiet.

  • Shower between sweats (i.e. sauna to hottub, or steamroom to sauna)

  • Tipping 20%+ preferably in cash

Final Notes

Don’t go expecting a luxe, five-star pampering experience. Do go expecting to relax, and to leave with enough money for lunch.

The cold plunge was out of order Aug 2025. Call ahead to double-check before visiting if that’s important to you, and visit their website for current promotions.
